Inspired Public Review

Write for us

We welcome clear, original proposals about public places and the choices that shape them. A strong contribution starts with a specific subject and gives readers a reason to look at it differently.

What we welcome

Pitch explainers, comparisons, histories, close readings and practical observation pieces related to public space, civic objects, public art, place design or civic rituals. We are interested in focused ideas with a useful point of view, not broad surveys that try to cover everything at once.

A useful pitch

Tell us the proposed subject, the central question, what readers will understand by the end and why the topic suits Inspired Public Review. Include a brief outline and links or references that help establish the angle, if relevant. Please say whether the idea has been published or offered elsewhere.

Sending a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page and select the editorial option. Unsolicited complete articles are not required; a concise proposal is enough for us to consider the idea. We cannot promise acceptance or a particular response time.

Our point of view

Public life is built from small choices

A sign, a pause point or an open edge can change how a place is read. We look closely at these details, without treating design as a substitute for the people who use it.
